Lead Therapist: Mohamed Youssef - Senior Physiotherapist - Cardio-respiratory
Mohamed Youssef is a chartered physiotherapist with advanced qualifications and many years of experience in a number of senior positions. Youssef first qualified from The University of Cairo in 1977 with a BSC in Physiotherapy and studied to complete his MSc in Respiratory. He then went on to complete his PhD at the National College of Naprapathy in Chicago, USA.
Youssef has been a practising physiotherapist since 1977, working in a variety of clinics and hospitals all over the world. He began his career at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia and has since worked in Qatar, Dubai, Florida, Illinois and then moved to the UK, where he has been working as a Senior Physiotherapist and Head of Department at clinics and hospitals in Kent, Camden and Kingston.
Youssef has been active in continuing his professional development since his PhD, where he has also completed the following professional certificates: Introduction to Acupuncture, Orthopaedic Medicine, Postural Instability Instructor and Supplementary Prescribing (London Metropolitan University). He is also a keen member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Health Professional Council and the American Physical Therapy Association.
Youssef is also a COPD Consultant who worked with a variety of NHS Trusts. His extensive qualifications and experience gained through his career have enabled him to expertly diagnose, treat and care for patients with a range of conditions. He is passionate about being able to help his patients put an end to their pain and return to a happy and active life.
